Sherbert is a magical creature from Lylasia. He bonds with Erika, transforming her into a magical girl to help him fight against the Kuuka.

Without the true understanding of what it means to be a hero, Sherbert’s weapon, Bapmaru, will never power up and reach its final form.

An 11-year old girl who is taken on by Sherbert as a sidekick. She is headstrong and a bit stubborn, which Sherbert mistakes for bravery. Because of this, Sherbert gives Erika the ability to transform into a magical girl, and she helps him to fight against the Kuuka on our world.

When a Magical Creature is born on Lylasia, a small piece of their soul is removed and forged into a weapon. This weapon is part of the animal, and they can summon it at any time when needed. It starts off as a child’s toy, but as the Magical Creature grows and matures, the weapon does as well . . . until it reaches its adult form, and becomes a powerful weapon based on the soul and personality of the animal wielding it.

Anti-Sherbert is one of the many alternate versions of Sherbert that exist throughout the multiverse. This Sherbert lost everything and everyone he loved in a cataclysmic event, and blames Sherbert for it. Using his Perfect Tracking magical ability, Anti-Sherbert is able to follow Sherbert anywhere, even though he does not, himself, have an ability to travel across dimensions on his own.

Rieka is another version of Erika from an alternate Tokyo, who is recruited and turned into a magical girl by Anti-Sherbert. Far more cynical than her counterpart, from the moment she encounters Erika, she is determined to prove that she is the strongest. She sees Erika as a copy, and not an equal, and this drives her to show that she is the original. As powerful an adversary as she is, she underestimates Erika’s power and her connection to Sherbert.

Erika’s father. He is a kind-hearted teacher at the local elementary school where Niko and Erika also attend. Erika tries to avoid her father while at school for fear of looking like she receives special treatment. Hiroshi tends to follow Erika around at school when he sees her, just to make sure she’s safe, but Erika doesn’t like it. Hiroshi is a slender man who always seems to be smiling.

Erika’s mother. She is an Italian chef who moved to Japan after falling in love with Hiroshi. They were soon married. But her career keeps her busy, and she works long hours at her restaurant, Buon Appetito. She is a beautiful blonde woman in a chef’s outfit.
